Healthy Neighborhoods Elects 5 New Board Members

We are thrilled to announce 5 new members of the Healthy Neighborhoods Board of Directors, elected at our 2021 Annual Meeting on December 14, 2021.

These dedicated community members join our 9 existing Board Members for a 2-year term, beginning on January 1, 2022.

Kevin Boilard

Lewiston resident

As president of local nonprofit Kaydenz Kitchen Food Pantry and a resident of Lewiston, Kevin has been collaborating with Healthy Neighborhoods for years. He regularly helps plan and support community events that have distributed thousands of dollars’ worth of free clothing in downtown Lewiston, and recently collaborated with another Healthy Neighborhoods network member to install a pet pantry inside Kaydenz Kitchen to support neighborhoods pets. He joins the Healthy Neighborhoods board looking to deepen his engagement with the community and continue his own growth and learning as a local nonprofit leader.


Eddie Greyfox Burgess

Lewiston resident & former Tree Streets resident

Chaplain Eddie Greyfox Burgess has served as a longtime community resource in a variety of roles. He previously worked at the Pierce Street Resource Center and his current project, the Wellness Mobile, distributes free resources to everyone in the Tree Streets wishing to have them and just received 501c3 nonprofit status. He is an advocate for wellness in the Lewiston community and lived in the Tree Streets for many years. He shares his personal story of wellness as an example that anyone with direction or resources can achieve wellness for themselves.


Michelle Richards

Tree Streets resident

Michelle Richards has been an active member of Healthy Neighborhoods for 2 years, and has lived in the Tree Streets for 8 years. She joined Healthy Neighborhoods in 2020 looking for ways to connect with her neighbors and get to know the neighborhood she lives in. She volunteers at the Root Cellar and joins the Healthy Neighborhoods Board out of a desire to positively influence her neighborhood by working with other invested community members to empower her fellow residents.


Amy Sanchez

Tree Streets resident

Amy Sanchez has been engaged with Healthy Neighborhoods for almost 2 years. During that time, she has received 2 Shared Gifting Mini-Grants, which she used to sew and distribute thousands of free masks in the community and to found Kommunity Kritters, a neighborhood pet pantry based out of Kaydenz Kitchen. She loves her home in the Tree Streets and joins the Healthy Neighborhoods board as a way to give back to her community.


Betsy Sibley

Works in the Tree Streets

Betsy Sibley has been active in Healthy Neighborhoods for several years, serving on committees, attending meetings and events, and participating in the Shared Gifting and Shared Learning process. In her role at Community Credit Union, she works to understand community needs and provide financial education and a safe place to grow and borrow money for Lewiston residents. She joins the Board seeking opportunities to collaborate on community projects and contribute to the growth of the Lewiston downtown.
